Kelly Tripucka averaged 17.2 points per game over 10 NBA seasons, a valuable swingman who could do a bit of everything for his squad. Though his production dipped after putting up over 20 a game his first five seasons, KT was back to balling in 1988-89, his first season with the expansion Charlotte Hornets. But the one major highlight Tripucka was involved in that year had nothing to do with his scoring or veteran leadership. Instead, it was one of Michael Jordan’s signature dunks, set up by Tripucka’s lazy mid-air pass. Unlike Craig Ehlo, Tripucka can at least be glad his embarrassment by Jordan was one and done. Watch.
