Michael Jordan’s off-court sneaker repertoire definitely wasn’t Jordans-only in the late ’80s and early ’90s. His Airness took advantage of his Nike family connection during that span, wearing many of the high-profile kicks of the day – Air Maxes, Air Force 2s, Cross Trainer Lows – during photo shoots and downtime. Here he is in 1989, adjusting the strap on his Nike Air Trainer SC II Lows during basketball camp duties. You think he requested certain sneakers or Nike just sent him a sampler pack every so often?
