While we may never see the full treasure trove of alternate Air Jordan designs and colorways, Jordan Brand is at least giving fans the chance to see and wear a few of them. Air Jordan 5 “Pre-Grape” helped set the tone in 2015, followed by the player exclusive “Alternate Collection” set released in early 2016. Air Jordan 7 “Olympic Alternate” keeps the idea going. This is a tweaked version of the classic AJ7 Olympic look that Michael Jordan wore to capture gold with the Dream Team in 1992. Much more color here with royal blue filling in the upper alongside a gradient red midsole, while an American flag graphic on the heel livens Michael Jordan’s Olympic number 9. Enjoy another look here and prep for the August 6th release.
