Sneaker fans already think of their shoes as wearable art, but Kicks Museum is playing up footwear design as actual art. Curated by Tokyo-based Ollie Magazine, the installment at Daikanyama T-Site Garden Gallery features Yoshirotten’s mused takes on sneakers like Air Jordan 1, Nike LeBron 11, as well selections including adidas and Vans. Artist Matthew Sena’s bronzed Air Jordan work will also be on display. The installment opens July 17 and runs through July 20, each day from 11am to 8pm. If you’re in Tokyo, stop by – admission is free.
