Though Michael Jordan arrived in the NBA with his dunking acumen quite advanced, he wasn’t able to outlast veteran Dominique Wilkins in the 1985 Dunk Contest. Nique nabbed the 1986 title, too, as Jordan sat out with his broken foot. But the 1987 contest in Seattle peoved to be MJ’s turn, as the Bulls star put on a show for a sidelined Wilkins and the crowd in his Air Jordan 2s. MJ unleashed some of his most famous slams – the Kiss The Rim leaner, Rock The Cradle, and the Tomahawk from the free-throw line. Air Jordan at his best.
