June 11th marks the 19th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s legendary “Flu Game” performance. With the series tied 2-2 and momentum toward the title hanging in the balance, the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz faced off in a pivotal Game 5 in front of a raucous crowd at the Delta Center. Normally, it wouldn’t be that big of a deal with Michael Jordan at full strength. But he was far from it, battling something like the flu – dehydrated, tired, nauseous. No big deal for MJ. After dropping in 38 points, with huge buckets down the stretch, the Bulls swiped Game 5 on the road. The rest is history. Relive the moments of that game with the clips below. And if you watched it live back in the day, share your memories in the comments.
