Jordan loyalists and newcomers alike will see Air Jordan 11 return to its full mid-’90s roots this December with the return of the vaunted Space Jam colorway. Yes, that means touches like the original Concord purple accents, number 45 on each heel, and Nike Air branding on the insoles. But since this release falls under the jurisdiction of Jordan Brand’s retro remaster program, Jordan Brand is going even further to bring back the original patent leather height and trim, as well as the wedge shaped toe that highlighted the 11s released throughout 1995-96. The look may come as a bit of a shock to the general public, who hasn’t seen an OG-style 11 release since the first wave of retros in 2000-01. As with any 11, bank on a sell-through on release day – December 10th. Stay tuned for more details, and let us know your thoughts on this return to form in the comments below.
