Everyone remembers Michael Jordan’s break in 1994 to play baseball. But before he laced up his Air Jordan 9 cleats, he did a little something that not even Larry Bird and Magic Johnson did – win a third consecutive NBA title. That’s the focus of the upcoming Air Jordan 8 Cigar and Champagne pack, celebrating 23 years since MJ and the Chicago Bulls made history as just the third NBA team to ever three-peat (1952-54 Minneapolis Lakers, 1959-66 Boston Celtics). The post-game levity traditionally includes plenty of champagne and victory smokes, the first of which inspired this Air Jordan 8. Pearlescent white and metallic gold finishes keep the vibe upper class, evoking champagne bottle packaging. Though the Bulls likely won’t be competing for a title any time soon, you can still remember MJ’s historic run with this pack when it drops in June 25th. Let us know if you’ll be picking up.
