Never saw Michael Jordan rock these but Nike apparently made an Air Jordan 2 Low boat shoe back in the day. And it’s pretty much what you’d expect if you were to imagine such an unlikely mix-up. The overall shape, the accordion heel counter, blocky sole – it’s all there, with what looks like quality leather construction. Now, as weird as this shoe is, it’s not exactly mind-exploding. We know Nike wasn’t shy with doing offshoots of signature sneakers in the late ’80s. The canvas AJKO was spun off of Air Jordan 1, while Air Jordan 2 was surrounded by its own AJKO version (sample only) and the similarly styled Air Python. But a boat shoe? With Jordan Brand uncorking the OG style AJ2 Low for spring/summer 2016, and increasingly focusing on casual sneakers like the Future and Horizon, maybe they should do something about these gums. Check this funky sneaker now on eBay.
