Nothing irks a sneakerhead more than getting an order cancelled. The shipping and payment info is submitted, you have an order number, and then boom, “sorry.”

That’s essentially what happened to select patrons who ordered the Air Jordan 12 “Master” from Nike.com over the weekend.

Nike.com oversold. So, some people got ’em, some got hosed with an apology email. But there was a pretty sweet silver lining in that message. French Blue lining, rather:

So heads up – should you ever get an Air Jordan order cancellation from Nike, don’t despair. You might just be set up for the next big release.

Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” is slated to release March 26th.
