Hybrid sneakers are another conversation, but Jordan Brand’s track record of shaping court-worthy team shoe dates to the late ’90s. That heritage eventually gave way to the Esterno (Italian for ‘external’) in 2008, a mid a little Air Jordan flavor mixed in. This Black/University Blue edition was just one of a handful of Esternos that hit shelves that summer, rocking out patent leather and nubuck, as well as huge carbon fiber shank that wrapped each side. Ray Allen even took the Esterno for a few rides during his time with the Celtics. If you’re interested, hit up eBay now to check the available selection.
