Thanks to back to back 37-45 record seasons, Michael Jordan never got a chance to make the playoffs during his stint with the Washington Wizards. So he also never got a chance to lace up the postseason-ready Air Jordan XVII in Black/Metallic Silver on-court. Simple black leather and synthetic for this “Away” colorway, including a lace shroud stamped with music notes by designer Wilson Smith. After all, MJ’s game was like sweet improvisational jazz. No word on a possible retro but Jordan Brand is expected to roll out the 17+ “Copper” in 2016. You can find pairs of this colorway and more now via eBay.
