The Daily Jordan: Air Jordan XX2 PE – 2007

Back in 2007, Jordan Brand followed up the XX2 signature model with an alternate called the XX2 PE. This next-gen take kept the basic tooling and frame while reformatting the upper with an ankle strap and rand extending around the perimeter. There were player exclusives of the XX2 PE for Jordan Brand’s NBA athletes but they stayed exclusive, while the public got straightforward colorways like this Black/Metallic Silver-Dark Charcoal-Varsity Red edition. Though the shoe rather quickly vanished into the wake of Air Jordan history, quite a few pairs have survived to find new homes on eBay.
