With 14 games on the slate for the NBA’s opening encore Wednesday night, there were plenty of Jordan sneakers squeaking across North America.
And by plenty, we mean a swarm of Jordan Super.Fly 4s – on the feet of Blake Griffin, Greg Monroe, Jeff Green, Monta Ellis, Victor Oladipo, Jared Sullinger and Jimmy Butler, who donned a pair of Air Jordan XX9 “Quai 54” for warm-ups before switching into his own Super.Fly 4 PE. Talk about a united front of marketing.
If it were not for guys like LaMarcus Aldridge, Kawhi Leonard, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul wearing choice retros and new signatures, we might be apt to think the Super.Fly 4 thing was a coordinated promotional effort.
