While the effectiveness of Jordan Brand’s “Remastered” process is completely up for debate, there’s no denying that they’ve checked the boxes on some key shoe details since launching the process in early 2015.
The Air Jordan 4 “White Cement,” for example, is coming back in February 2016 as close to the original look as the celebrated 1999 version (leather quality is another debate altogether).
The shape and shade of grey is improved, the mesh netting on the side panels flows parallel to the laces, the forward lace ports are restored after years of releases with their base flares sheared off. The Nike Air is a nice touch, too.
Let us know if these are on your radar for the new year, and stay tuned for more updates.
