The Daily Jordan: Jordan Future Flight Remix – 2014

The past becomes prologue, at least it did last year with the Jordan Future Flight Remix. This modern hoops shoe imagined a mix between Air Jordan 5 and Air Jordan XX2, borrowing the overall shape, netting and sole platform from the former to match with the oversize heel counter and lace ports of the latter. There’s a sprinkling of XV in there, too, with the V-shaped eyerow spacing and heel strip. Did this sneaker successfully pull off the hybrid theme, or just turn out to be another Frankenstein?
