Blake Griffin and the Looney Tunes rocked the Jordan Super.Fly 4 launch this summer, and Chris Paul’s Jordan CP3.IX debuted just last week. So, what about Melo? The man himself is still very much into his M11s, as a recent photo from Knicks practice shows here. And Jordan Brand isn’t letting on a thing about the M12, but they are filling the silence with additional M11 colorways to get the 2016 season underway. Black/Metallic Gold/Bright Citrus/Laser Orange, to be more specific, provides a fresh twist on the New York Knicks blue and orange – black vented synthetic upper, some gradient effect running up the midsole, and a touch of the light blue we just saw on the Flight Runner 2 “Soar” edition. Melo’s no-trade clause, ahem, confidence in Knicks president Phil Jackson’s vision means he’ll be in NYC for the foreseeable future, keeping this M11 colorway relevant if you’re looking to pick up a pair now.
