While Air Jordan 1 is nearly ubiquitous these days, Jordan Brand has held tight the reins on the original colorways, especially the Black/Varsity Royal. That looks to change this fall with the release of this Air Jordan 1 Low OG. And it’s a big deal – this AJ1 colorway has only appeared twice since since its 1985 debut – 2001 and 2013. An early photo shows the shoe in its authentic format, with the Nike Air tongue tags and the Wings logo stamped on the heel collar. Right now the AJ1 Low OG “Royal” is slated for an October 7, 2015 release. More details and photos to follow.
