The red suede Air Jordan XX1 is today’s Daily Jordan. Released on February 18, 2006, the Varsity Red/Metallic Silver-Black 21 set a new standard for performance sneaker luxury to go along with its modular Air and Zoom cushioning pods. With apologies to the Graphite release, the Varsity Red edition is likely the most sought of all the AJ21s – a quick eBay search turns up a virtual abundance of nearly every colorway except these. The 2008 Air Jordan XX1/II Countdown Pack notwithstanding, the XX1 hasn’t yet received a proper retro treatment. When that time comes, is the Varsity Red priority one? Stroll through some photos below and throw in your ideas in the comments.
