If Air Jordan 11 is perhaps the most popular Jordan sneaker of all time, where does the 11 Low IE fit in that estimation?
It doesn’t have the patent leather and doesn’t cause mass panic when it releases, but doggone it, people like it. And Michael Jordan did wear them in the 1996 playoffs. That counts for something. But that’s assuming we’re talking the original “Bred” and “Cobalt” colorways; Jordan Brand is wading into new waters with this “Referee” look.
Based on a ’96 sample, this change-up features black leather and nubuck detailing, a matching black sole, a red traction and carbon fiber. It’s all very Chicago Bulls but will it sell out? We’ll find out two weeks from tomorrow on September 26. Chime in with your thoughts on this new IE in the comments.
