If you were looking for new ways to expand your Michael Jordan fandom in the late ’80s, this “Celebrity Patch” was likely a revelation. Festooned with a replica of Michael Jordan’s autograph, jersey number 23 and generic hoop logo (the Chicago Bull probably cost too much to license), the little rectangle could spice up most anything you could iron it to. Hey, patches were big back then, a sort of status symbol. If you want to bring this fad back, you can pick up your own MJ patch on eBay now. Stay tuned for more Vintage Gear this week.
