Michael Jordan left the Birmingham Barons and the game of baseball on March 10, 1995 and was in a Chicago Bulls uniform nine days later. That didn’t stop toy maker Kenner from producing a Starting Lineup figurine of Jordan, decked out in his black and silver threads, stirrups intact, powering through a swing. You’ll have to forgive Kenner on the details; aside from the jersey info this doesn’t look much like MJ circa 1995 – when did he wear Goose Gossage’s facial hair? – but the idea was to have a simple toy for display, not insane Enterbay figure detailing. This piece of collectible fun can be found through eBay sellers like artkennyd now.
