With the Air Jordan 1’s 30th birthday this year, Jordan Brand has lavished attention on the sneaker that started it all. Releases like the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Chicago” and “Shattered Backboard,” as well as snakeskin leather “Pinnacle” editions have hit high commemorative notes. The Rare Air lineup is nestled in that spread, too, offering more lifestyle takes on the AJ1 with mixed use leather, modernized branding, and the ever fun removable Jumpman patches. There have been a few colorways hitting independents lately, and they’ll soon have company in this black and bronze combo – tumbled leather and metallic synthetic team up for a simple but sharp look as we head in to the fall season. Check the official images here and we’ll have more details as they happen.
