Recently relegated to sharply aged original pairs and preserved Nike promo ads, the Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” is about to see shelves for the first time since summer 1991. Wearable pairs. With Nike Air. Almost too good to be true but, as these photos can attest, it’s very true. In fact, this is the first Air Jordan 6 since the 2000 Black/Infrareds to sport Nike Air on the heel, so the return is long overdue on multiple fronts. From all appearance, it looks like Jordan Brand kept these about as close to the originals as you can get this side of a time machine. Off-white leather upper, maroon Neoprene tongue, the lace locks, the midsole flares, even Nike Air-printed insoles. And they left off the blue tint on the clear soles. Still awaiting the official release specifics, but peep these high quality stills in the meantime.
