A prime candidate for a re-retro, the Air Jordan 13 “Wheat” is the subject of today’s Daily Jordan. Launched on October 23, 2004 for $150, the Wheat 13 helped kick off the first wave of Jordan 13 retros, seven years after the shoe’s original colorways hit stores. White tumbled leather and tan nubuck were paired for a fresh lifestyle look ideally suited for the fall season in which it was released. Though it was the first time a 13 Mid sported such a colorway, the precedent was set by the original “Ginger” Air Jordan 13 Low in 1998 and the Air Jordan XVI in 2001. A quick search of eBay will turn up various Wheats in various conditions, some fetching upwards of $500. Would you like to see Jordan Brand bring these back soon? Check the pics here, hit us in the comments with your thought on this one, and stay tuned for more Daily Jordan.
