Many people didn’t even realize that Air Jordan 1.5 ever existed until photos of the shoe began streaming out across the WWW this spring. It sure did exist in 1985, and even saw a select number of games on the feet of a 22-year-old Michael Jordan as Nike tested out this alternate vision for the first ever Air Jordan signature shoe. Needless to say, the 1.5 made a popper’s worth of noise compared to the nuclear explosion Air Jordan 1 sounded off back then, but with Jordan Brand in the middle of its 30th anniversary celebration, the 1.5’s special place in Jordan history has it skyrocketing in appeal and importance. Aside from the Air Jordan 2 sole, inverted color tongue tags and Nike branded Wings logos, the 1.5 is every bit the fit and finish of its Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG sibling. You’ll have your chance to add this uncommon sneaker to your rotation when it drop at retail tomorrow morning. Take another photo refresher here and let us know if you’ve decided to nab a pair.
