While it’s possible that Turtle can’t possibly love Air Jordans any more than he already does, his sneaker collection always has more room. Especially if it’s for a custom of this magnitude.
Jerry Ferrara, the actor who portrayed sneaker-crazy character in the hit show and film Entourage, took delivery of a pair of hand-crafted “Fukijama” Air Jordan 1 customs during Shoe Palace’s grand opening at Melrose on July 15th.
Created by Dominic Chambrone, known to the sneaker community as TheShoeSurgeon, the design mimics features of the Nike Air Force 1 “Fukijama” spotted in the show. Only Chambrone added his artistic twist with liquid gold and laser etching, including phrases from the movie.
Should this custom prove too nice for Ferrara to hit the pavement with, it should make a fine display mate for the black and gold CP3.VIII that Jordan Brand cooked to celebrate the Entourage movie premiere on June 3rd.
