It’s one thing to get posterized on a dunk, but having your franchise’s team colors on the signature shoe of the guy who dominated you is another level of shame. The Air Jordan 8 “Nothing But Net” combines the team colors of the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, and Phoenix Suns – the three teams Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls smoked en route to 1991, 1992, and 1993 NBA title wins.
Normally you’d think mixing three team’s worth of colors on one shoe would get messy but Jordan Brand kept it very simple – white leather upper, black base, and strategically placed yellow-orange, purple, and red highlights. The chenille tongue patch has been replaced with the Jumpman soaring over a trophy-esque backdrop. October 24 is the release day scheduled at the moment. Let us know if this one is on your list with the similarly hued Air Jordan 7 “Nothing But Net.”
