Michael Jordan’s Hornets set up at Blakeney Shopping Center in Charlotte this afternoon for some family-friendly games and prizes, another example of the organization’s avid participation in the citywide community. Very cool gesture but what caught our eye is the 12-foot-high inflatable Air Jordan XI “Cool Grey” basketball shooting game they set up for patrons. It’s not terribly surprising. The XI is MJ’s favorite sneaker, and he even made a point of putting Concords on Hugo, the team’s mascot, for the Hornets rebrand.
There can’t have been a cooler game on-site. Just… where and how much?
