The Daily Jordan is back with a really different look Jordan Brand tried a few years ago – Air Jordan 2010 Outdoor “For The Love Of The Game.”
Part of a Pantone blue four-shoe “For The Love Of The Game” lineup that included Air Jordan 1 Alpha Outdoor, Air Jordan 9, Jordan Pre-Game XT, this alternate take provided the option of a Jordan signature shoe built specifically for balling on any court missing a roof. They completely shrouded the toe box to keep your forefoot stabilized and bolted on extra reinforcement like something you’d see on a tennis shoe, maybe a construction boot, to keep the shoe from shredding during your jukes. The straps are very Nike Air Raid.
These released on August 7, 2010 for $130, timed by Jordan Brand to coincide with the very first Nike World Basketball Festival in New York City.
Pairs of the University Blue/White-Black kicks can be had on eBay still but that availability is drifting to fewer and farther between. Let us know if think Jordan Brand should offer more outdoor-ready sneakers; that is, if people are still playing street ball.
