The last original Air Jordan 6 colorway is on the clock for release. Air Jordan 6 “Maroon” will be on shelves for the first time as a retro, toting the white leather, maroon rubber tongue and touches, and Nike Air logo on the heel that helped make the 1991 original a cult classic. Huge deal here, first because the colorway is one of the dwindling few Jordan Brand hasn’t yet re-released, and also because “Nike Air” hasn’t been included on an Air Jordan 6 released since the 2000 Black/Infrared. Jordan Brand only recently relented on including it on retros at all, plying the 2013 Air Jordan 3 ’88 with the beloved wordmark. As expected, photos – outside of these, of course – and release details are quiet at the moment. Stay tuned for developing details.
