Jordan Brand’s now-requisite Air Jordan XI holiday release takes the famous patent leather hoops signature in a fresh direction to homage the Bulls’ landmark 72-10 regular season record of 1995-96. There’s an appearance of patent but it seems like a see-through wrap that simply reveals more of the shoe’s tumbled black leather upper. Additional touches in include a stitching switch-up – the heel “23” is sewn in rather than embossed and the heel Jumpman is embossed rather than sewn in. Scant red touches have been applied throughout, and the sole appears to take on a milky white translucence rather than the icy blue we’ve been used to for a few years. What you see in the photos here is what the shoe is slated to look like when it releases on December 19 at $220. Official images are aways off from now but we’ll bring you those asap.
