In an unprecedented preview, Jordan Brand has released full photos of three legacy shoe collections arriving in spring 2016. The slate consists of eight shoes paired off into three collections – the Air Jordan II and Air Jordan XII “Poster Collection” that honors two noted Air Jordan posters, the Air Jordan II, IV and V Low “Alternate Collection” with each shoe in a player exclusive make-up, and the Air Jordan 1 High, Air Jordan IV, and Air Jordan V Low “Dunk From Above Collection” inspired by Michael Jordan‘s signature ability to soar to the hoop.
View each collection below with official descriptions, and stay tuned for more release details as they happen.
The Poster Collection
The Air Jordan II “Wing It” pays tribute to the brand’s ad campaign that coincided with the shoe’s original release in 1986. White, black and dark gray, the AJ II “Wing It” includes wings on the shoe’s heels that capture the spirit of Jordan’s effortless game above the rim.
In celebration of the shoe’s 20th anniversary, this Air Jordan XII pulls inspiration from the iconic “The Master” poster. A black base grounds the shoe, while hints of white and gold play off the poster’s radiant lines.
