Back in the ’90s, Michael Jordan‘s signature scent resulted in the improved fragrance aura of everyman, from basketball fans to your dad, and kicked out a promotional t-shirt that would fit literally every one of them.
Of course you want to get the word out on any new product but wearing a shirt advertising cologne? And seriously, read the size tag: One Size Fits All. If you’re tall, a bit pudgy, slight of frame, doesn’t matter – you want to wear this shirt, you deal with the fabric’s dimensions.
Good thing the cologne wasn’t bound by these restrictions. Introduced in 1996, Michael Jordan Cologne showed fans what grapefruit, lemon, cardamom, sandalwood, patchouli, musk and a few other hints could do to enhance their game, with a rubber topped and bottomed glass bottle complete with molded basketball. And it’s still in production! Just Google, it’s all over.
The tee, if you’re inclined to wade into mono-sized clothing, is available via sungodown78 on eBay. More Vintage Gear to come.
