Well, it’s been a banner year for the small-footed Air Jordan fan, and Jordan Brand aims to keep it that way with the Air Jordan 5 GS “Hot Lava.”
The grey-based “Hot Lava” plays on the strength and appeal of its grey backdrop, done here in nubuck throughout, with the infrared hue backlighting the tongue and lowlighting on the sole. No yellowing tread to worry about here, which is ideal for any youngsters who use their Jordans to trek all over like Billy from The Family Circus comic strip. Jordan Brand has the 23 stitched on the rear quarters, too, similar to the player exclusive Vs that Michael Jordan wore in 1990.
From there it’s black and white checkered laces and a dash of black trim to set everything off. Release day is penciled in as May 9th, with sticker price set at $140. Check out the rest of these US11 photos and stay tuned.
