We’re back with another round of photos of the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” today. This is tribute shoe of sorts to Michael Jordan’s backboard breaking in 1986 while taking part in an exhibition game overseas. To remember the moment, Jordan Brand is bringing back the black and orange he wore that game in Jordan 1 form, his lone signature shoe at the time. The look mimics the famous “Black Toe” layout, except that orange fills in on the toe box where white would otherwise be. While a summer 2015 release is expected, we’ll update with concrete release info as it becomes available. What are your thoughts on Jordan Brand’s latest inspiration-based Air Jordan 1 colorway?
