Russell Westbrook didn’t rack up another triple-double but made do with a double-double to tip another crucial victory Oklahoma City’s way on Sunday – OKC 109, Chicago 100.
The superstar guard’s 36 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and one steal carried the Thunder, a team fighting to secure one of the remaining playoff spots in the heavily competitive Western Conference. It’s been a tall task. The team’s other superstar Kevin Durant has been sidelined since February 19 as he works to recover from a recent procedure on his right foot to correct the Jones fracture he suffered last October.
