Jordan Brand has branched out quite a bit for 2014. There’s the ongoing Air Jordan 1 collaboration with Nike SB (we’re still waiting on a third pair that’s rumored to drop late Fall) along with a number of other exciting lifestyle releases like the Jordan Future and Jordan Shine. But an Air Jordan tennis shoe? The NikeCourt Zoom Vapor AJ3 combines two Tinker Hatfield designs in the Air Jordan 3 and his Nike Zoom Vapor for Roger Federer’s journey through the US Open. A surprising collaboration to say the least, the shoe takes on the aesthetic of Mike’s classic White/Cement third signature thanks to a leather upper and cement elephant print on the heel and toebox. The sneaker even features that classic ‘Nike Air’ branding to further the Air Jordan 3 motif. What do you think? Hit the click for more official photos and know that you can grab a pair tomorrow, August 27th from select Nike Lab retailers and the Jordan Flight 23 store in NYC.
