You may have already heard, but LeBron James is heading back to Cleveland. The biggest sports story of the summer doesn’t even involve a game actually being played, but instead leads to more and more speculation. The latest LeBron speculation had to do with his jersey number. While the current King of the NBA used to wear Michael Jordan’s number 23, he went on record before switching to the Heat letting everyone know that he thinks it deserved a league wide retirement. Apparently James changed his mind because he’ll don the number once again as a Cav for nostalgia’s sake. Michael Jordan recently spoke on the matter by saying, “I’m cool with it. I don’t own a number.” Do you think Mike’s jersey is still in need of a league wide retirement? Let us know in the comments section.
