Michael Jordan set a number of records in the NBA, but one that the business man in MJ is probably most proud of is garnering the most expensive contract in the league’s history – a record that still stands today. During the 1997-1998 season, Mike took home $33 million from one season of basketball, one that proved worth it as the Chicago Bulls brought home their 6th championship. The original contract is signed by Michael Jordan and the former Bulls general manager in Jerry Krause. According to ESPN, if you factor in inflation, that $33 million MJ made would be worth upwards of $49 million today. Hit the click for more info on this legendary piece of paper and head over to Heritage Auctions to start your bidding (that is if you have about $25,000 laying around).
