Michael Jordan is officially the majority owner of the newly minted Charlotte Hornets by a wide margin, and with the unveiling of their new uniforms which pay homage to their past being designed by Jordan Brand, can we expect to see some exclusive Jumpman footwear referencing the team? For now, all we’ll have to settle with is a pair of the Air Jordan 11 in a grade school size, one that features a purple monochromatic base while the laces, lining, and branding get hit with a dash of teal. And while it’s unlikely this pair will see anything more than a smaller size run, deviating from the traditional Bred colorways would be a welcomed addition to honor Hornets’ tradition. What do you think about the potential for a Charlotte Hornets referencing Air Jordan 11? More images are after the jump.
