If all of the colorways reminiscent of the classic Raptors look that released last weekend weren’t indication enough of the Air Jordan 2 sample floating around possibly getting a release date, today we get confirmation that the sneaker will release on May 24th, 2014. Featuring a similar color blocking to the “Nightshade” Air Jordan 2s, the shoe gets a pebbled Safari print on the upper ankle support and toebox while grey holds down the base. Dark concord accents hit the lining, midsole and laces that feature an infrared speckling throughout while black makes its way onto the tongue and heel.
