The Air Jordan 2 will make its return to store shelves for the first time in quite a while with the introduction of the Infrared/Cement iteration on April 12th. To ready us for the return, as it usually does, Jordan Brand will release a hybrid atop the Air Jordan 1 in the newly minted Air Jordan 1 Retro 86. While the Air Jordan 1 has served as a more than able canvas for these hybrid releases, more than a couple years usually separates the participating silhouettes. This time around though, the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 2 will come together separated by only a year in history. The shoe features double wings branding on both the tongue and ankle support while the heel features extra support in a nod to MJ’s second silhouette. The first installment will keep colors muted in a black and pure platinum look while pebbled safari print hits the toebox. What do you think of the latest Air Jordan 1 hybrid? Continue onward for more images of this upcoming April 9th release and just incase you can’t wait for this model to arrive at retailers, know that you can grab them early via 95soleman on eBay.
