When Jordan Brand became its own brand during the 1997 NBA Season, Mike made sure to lace up a number of NBA players in their own ‘Team’ shoe – the first of its kind to feature the Jumpman insignia and be doled out to supporting role players – in the form of the Jordan Team 1. The likes of Scottie Pippen and then later, Ray Allen, would sport pairs and today we get a look at an OG colorway in the form of this black and white pair. The shoe brings back recollections of the Air Jordan 12 “Playoffs” with an asymmetrical mudguard contrasting the predominantly black upper in white, while the shoe’s back heel features a gym red circular plate with the words ‘Jordan Basketball Team’. Be sure to head to the gallery for a better look at this Jordan Team 1 in a classic black and white and know that you can pick up your size today via Finishline.
