With North Carolina preparing for their first tournament game tomorrow, it’s only right that Jordan Brand release a sneaker aimed at the lineage of team branding with the Jumpman logo on it. Back in 1997 when Jordan Brand first seceded from the Swoosh, they released the Jordan Team 1, a sneaker that could be found on the feet of the likes of Jerry Stackhouse and Vince Carter as well as a couple of Chicago Bulls. Today we get a look at a UNC inspired look featuring an almost Air Jordan 11 “Columbia” scheme. Featuring a mostly white upper, the shoe gets hit with University Blue accents on the sole and tongue while silver holds down the branding. What do you think of this Jordan Jumpman Team 1 release?
