The United Center currently hosts a Chicago Bulls quad that’s suffering from numerous injuries and are at a fork in the road with the choice of whether to rebuild or compete on a nightly basis to be a middle of the road team in a weak Eastern Conference. That being said, the statue of Michael Jordan soaring over defenders in the Air Jordan IX serves as a reminder of the history of the franchise and the man that helped hang the 6 championship banners that the squad now plays under. Recently, a blueprint of the famous statue outside of the United Center went to auction with a Buy It Now price of $100,000. The blueprint features a sketch of what the statue was aimed to look like while placement and details are prominently featured next to the intended original measurements of sculptors Omri and Julie Rotblatt-Amrany. Hit the click to get a better look at this historic find and check out the original listing on eBay which ended up selling for a cool $30,000.
