Ah, the limitations of branding. While we’re all fans of Jordan Brand and MJ’s recent announcement that he’d like JB to produce all of the upcoming Charlotte Hornets apparel, unfortunately that looks unlikely with the three-stripes controlling the licensing on all NBA merchandise currently. And it looks like that was the case for this Air Jordan XX8 “All-Star Game” PE from the 2008 games hosted in Chris Paul’s former New Orleans squad’s arena. With a classic ‘Bred’ scheme (these must’ve been given to some players on the West squad – whether it was Carmelo or CP3 remains to be unknown) the logo hits the tongue and inner lining of the sneaker.
