Is the Jordan CP3.VII going to be the sneaker Chris Paul wears en-route to his first NBA MVP? At the rate he’s scoring in the first week (averaging nearly 25 points per) he may just take the NBA scoring title from fellow Jordan Athlete Carmelo Anthony. While that scenario is a little far-fetched, Paul recently talked to ESPN about redefining his scoring role with the Los Angeles Clippers. “My job as a point guard is to make the other team think I’m trying to score. I’m not bad at that. That’s my main objective. I can get two people on me, and then I’m able to throw it back to Blake [Griffin], and once that continues, we become that [much] more dangerous.” Where as Chicago’s Derrick Rose is known to attack the rim, Chris Paul has always been defined by his ability to distribute when regarded as one of the league’s (if not the penultimate) point guard. With the Clippers facing off against LeBron and the defending champions tonight, head to ESPN to read the entire article and stay tuned for CP3’s on feet selection in our Jordans on Court recap.
