Gary Payton’s recent induction into the Hall of Fame reminded everybody what a great talker he was, but the guy could flat out play. He was a Western Conference nuisance for most of his career, but crossed paths with Michael Jordan a number of times, most famously in the 1996 NBA Finals when his Seattle Supersonics stole two games away from the Bulls. GP would make a surprising stop in Los Angeles in search of his first title (he eventually got one as a bench player for the Miami Heat in 2006) and although his Nike Zoom ‘The Glove” is getting a retro treatment, he was known to wear a pair of Air Jordans from time to time. Today we get a glimpse of the Air Jordan XIX in a black and gold edition taylor made for Lakers wear. Hit the gallery to get a better view of this Jordan signature with GP and his number 20 stitched onto the back strap, this game issue pair can be picked up today from foamkicks on eBay.
