September is going to be a big month for Michael Jordan’s fifth signature sneaker, as two new schemes of the shoe that we’ve never seen before will hit retailers later this month. There’s the Air Jordan V “Doernbecher” with its iridescent black text-text printed upper that shines a bright blue when held under UV lighting and then there’s the Air Jordan V “3Lab5”. The shoe adopts the signature elephant print initially put on the Air Jordan III (that might have even been the reason that Michael Jordan stayed with the brand to begin with) and applies the pattern to the entire upper in a textured no seem overlay. The new shade of gamma blue hits in accents on the Jumpman shark teeth as well. Head to the gallery for a more detailed look and let us know if you plan on grabbing this special release come September 21st.
